Can't take credit for the pictures. That Clydesdale video always gets to me. It's like the grief was so deep even our animals, fiction characters and commercial entities felt the loss.
The picture of the grieving father did it for me.
Yes, it will probably be one of those all time memorable images. It touches us all.
Sorry, Marley but for some reason, there were no pictures, just black triangles containing an exclamation mark. Probably me doing something stupid with my computer gain. But I saw plenty of the tributes on the news here and I certainly echo your final sentiment.
